Washington Convention Center
At DrupalCon DC, more than 1,000 Drupal developers and users will converge on Washington, DC on March 4-7, 2009 to network, learn more about Drupal, and make decisions on the future of the platform. You can see the general agenda here and see what sessions have been proposed here.
DrupalCon is the official Drupal unconference that attracts the most talented open source developers and innovative web shops in the world and brings them together to share knowledge, make decisions on the future of Drupal, and get to know each other in person. It’s a chance for developers to share tricks, explain how modules work, and learn from each other. It’s an opportunity for open source shops to connect and trade stories, and it’s a chance for everyone to meet the people behind the code they rely on and for those developers to meet the people who are using Drupal to meet real world communications needs. It’s also the premiere opportunity for Drupal users to learn what they can do with Drupal, find partners for future projects, and meet the people behind the code.
Drupal is one of the strongest and most powerful open source publishing platforms because of the passionate community that support it. This same community is what makes DrupalCon a unique and very fun event.
