Ask The Expert: Working Effectively with Remote Teams

The office of the future is virtual. With 50% of the workforce expected to be remote by 2020, nonprofits are looking at new models of work to stay competitive. Whether your organization already works with a remote team or is just exploring telecommunicating and remote work options, this online, interactive “Ask the Expert” event will explore how to build and maintain an intentional organizational culture in a remote staff environment. Our experts will address the questions:

  • What are some of the challenges of building and managing a remote team?
  • How do you facilitate effective communication and collaboration?
  • How do you foster inclusiveness and camaraderie among disparate teams?
  • What tools and best practices do you recommend for working with remote staff?

This online event is guided by you, our Members! You can ask your questions on social media using #ntenlearn or interact with speakers during the call. “Ask the Expert” is an online series exclusive to and free for NTEN Members. Not a Member? Become one today!

Special offer: NTEN Members receive 20% off the online, interactive Work Together Anywhere workshop, that includes tips for how to simulate the office, give feedback, and run pain free online meetings. Contact Lisette Sutherland for details.
