The Association of Advancement Services Professionals (AASP) is an international organization for individuals interested in the profession of advancement services.  AASP provides education, professional development, and networking opportunities to its members and promotes the professional status of advancement services in the philanthropic community.

Membership in AASP is open to individuals who foster a positive association within the philanthropic community, whose terms of affiliation are not contrary to the goals of AASP, and who uphold the responsibilities and integrity of the association without conflict of interest.

The Association of Certified Nonprofit Professionals (ACNP) is a group for all graduates of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance (formerly the American Humanics) program. As the largest network in the country working to build a nonprofit talent pipeline, the ACNP offers the only national nonprofit management credential vetted by the workforce. Recent research indicates that professionals who earn the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential are seven times more likely to rise to director or higher level during their nonprofit career.

The Bay Area Video Coalition inspires social change by enabling the sharing of diverse stories through art, education and technology. BAVC was founded in 1976, and for the last 35 years has been providing thousands of people the tools, training and support they need to tell the stories that change the world.

The Center for Nonprofit Stewardship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates and empowers nonprofit board members in sound financial, administrative and organizational stewardship.

Connecticut Association of Nonprofits (CT Nonprofits) is the largest membership organization in the state dedicated exclusively to working with nonprofits in Connecticut. By connecting organizations with information, education, advocacy and collaboration, we help members focus their energy on the people and communities they serve. The Council on Accreditation (COA) is an international, independent, not-for-profit, child- and family-service and behavioral healthcare accrediting organization. It was founded in 1977 by the Child Welfare League of America and Family Service America (now the Alliance for Children and Families). Originally known as an accrediting body for family and children’s agencies, COA currently accredits 50 different service areas and over 125 types of programs.

Established in 1982 as the national service organization for the professional dance field, Dance/USA is a membership organization currently serving aerial, ballet, modern, culturally specific, jazz, and tap companies, dance service and presenting organizations, and related organizations.

Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) is a national network of foundation professionals and social entrepreneurs who strive for excellence in the practice of philanthropy. Our mission is to develop emerging leaders committed to building a just, equitable, and sustainable society. EPIP exists to ensure that emerging foundation professionals are effective stewards of philanthropic resources and all social entrepreneurs reach their potential as leaders.

Forge is a collaborative work space for non-profits and social entrepreneurs in downtown Portland, Oregon. Forge provides their members with access to free accounting templates, legal referral, business development, mentorship, intern placement, and web templates.

The Hawai`i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations (HANO) unites and strengthens the nonprofit sector as a collective force to improve the quality of life in Hawaii.

The Idaho Nonprofit Center (INC) represents the interests of Idaho’s 4,600 nonprofit organizations and serves as a broker of information and a bridge between the nonprofit, for-profit and government sectors. INC is an association of forward-looking nonprofit leaders who come together to share knowledge, solve problems, pursue common interests, and serve the public good.

The Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP) is the leading organization committed to advancing, connecting and strengthening the leadership, voice and organizational effectiveness of Maine’s nonprofits. MANP is a membership organization offering professional skill development programs, affordable healthcare and benefits plans, discounts on related programs and services and advocacy resources, and is part of a national network of state associations.

Incorporated in 1990, Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA) is a statewide membership organization dedicated to serving the diverse nonprofit sector through civic engagement, capacity-building, data and technology, training, and advocacy.  MNA manages multiple programs and affiliates including Data Driven Detroit, Highway T, The LEAGUE Michigan, Michigan Campus Compact, Volunteers Centers of Michigan, Mentoring to Access Corps, and AmeriCorps VISTA.

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits works to inform, promote, connect and strengthen individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector. The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits was founded in 1987 to meet the increasing information needs of nonprofits and to convene nonprofits to address issues facing the sector. It is the largest state association of nonprofits in the U.S. Through The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, nonprofits join together across interest areas to work on issues of common concern to all.

The Montana Nonprofit Association is a membership organization that promotes a stronger nonprofit sector in Montana through public policy, affordable products and services, organizational development, research and information sharing, and network building. MNA members address a broad array of missions in education, health and human services, arts and culture, religious and spiritual development, environmental protection, animal welfare, economic and workforce development, and more.

The New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits (NHC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, statewide association dedicated to providing programs and resources that support nonprofit organizational capacity building and to partnering with sector leaders, businesses, and the broader community to elevate the visibility and status of the nonprofit sector.

The New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc (NYCON) is a membership-based, mission-driven, statewide association of diverse charitable nonprofit organizations.  With over 3,000 members, they work to build the capacity of nonprofits and communities throughout New York State to enhance the quality of life through responsive, cost-effective service. NYCON provides a wide array of specialized technical assistance services, including legal and financial, to nonprofits of all kinds in a staff-based, multidisciplinary model. Their members have access to a wealth of quality, cost-saving group purchasing and discounted programs.

As the sector-wide network representing all Oregon nonprofits, the Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO) works across the state to strengthen and connect nonprofit leaders, organizations, and the sector as a whole. NAO accomplishes this by giving voice to the collective achievements and aspirations of nonprofits; growing organizational and leadership capacity and diversity; and facilitating knowledge exchange among nonprofits and across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. Building on its rich history of capacity building over more than three decades, NAO ensures a future in which Oregon nonprofits are visible and valued as essential contributors to our society.

The Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee (NPC) is a membership association of nonprofit organizations, serving staff, board members, and volunteers. The Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee promotes the interests and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector through strengthening organizational capacity, expanding volunteerism and encouraging collaboration.

Nonprofit Missouri (NPMO) is the collective voice to unite, strengthen and advance the nonprofit sector in Missouri. Formed in 2010, Nonprofit Missouri has grown to support nonprofit organizations and nonprofit professionals by providing training, education, guidance for: managing and leading more effectively; fostering and sustaining fruitful collaborations; achieving greater impact in communities; monitoring nonprofit legislative issues; advocating on critical policy issues affecting the sector, and promoting the value of nonprofits.

The North Carolina Center for Nonprofits enriches North Carolina’s communities and economy through a strong nonprofit sector and nonprofit voice. The N.C. Center strives to provide high-quality assistance and information on effective practices in nonprofit management and leadership, while fostering communication and collaboration among nonprofits. They serve as an advocate on issues that affect the capacity of all nonprofits in the state and enhance public recogniction of the importance of the nonprofit sector. We want to encourage N.C. The North Dakota Association of Nonprofit Organizations (NDANO) is the statewide membership association advancing North Dakota nonprofits through advocacy and public policy, education and training, resources and research, cost-saving programs, and leadership and networking. NDANO strengthens communities and enhances quality of life through engaging and ensuring a strong charitable sector.

Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations is the statewide membership organization serving and advancing the charitable nonprofit sector through leadership, advocacy, education and other services in order to improve the overall quality of life in Pennsylvania. PANO helps charities become more efficient and effective through collaboration, cooperation and the sharing of resources and information. PANO helps charities succeed together where they can not succeed separately.

The Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations (TANO) is the statewide membership association reflecting and promoting Texas’ growing nonprofit community in all its diversity.Envisioning a Texas Nonprofit Sector that works together to be among the healthiest and most vibrant in the nation, TANO’s concern and focus is every nonprofit entity within our state no matter its size or budget, urban or rural location. TANO’s mission is to connect, strengthen, and support the nonprofit community for the public good of Texas.

The Utah Nonprofits Association works to strengthen the Utah nonprofit community so that we may all work together to create a dynamic group of organizations that serve the various needs of our local and global community.

Washingon Nonprofits works to build a strong, collaborative network of nonprofits serving Washington communities through advocacy, education and capacity building.

Washington Nonprofits works to make the nonprofit sector stronger by weaving us together; making our network more inclusive; bridging divides between people, organizations and sectors.  Accomplishing this statewide requires utilizing extensive and unique training programs, convening regional and  sector support groups, conferences, advocacy and policy work, and membership events. WVDO began in 1977 to link nonprofit development officers for education and networking.  Almost 35 years later, WVDO is the premier education, connecting and job source for nonprofit development staff and volunteers.  WVDO provides nonprofit staff and volunteers with fundraising tools to raise more money, strengthen relationships with donors and become strategic, nonprofit leaders. Their mission is to empower members to develop resources and fundraising excellence.
