As you know, this Spring has seen some new faces at NTEN – including mine! During the transition, one thing has fallen from the blog: the regular member round-up. Well, don't fret! It's back now and here to stay. There's so much going on this week, you may need to settle in with a cup of tea to check out everything NTEN members up to!
Some NTEN members deploy technology, others build it! Peter Dietz and Christine Egger officially started the process this week of transitioning Social Actions – the community creating APIs and collaborations to make finding actionable opportunities easier across the web – over to its new home at GuideStar. Read the announcement from Peter about the transition.
One of the biggest traits of the nonprofit technology sector is a willingness to share experiences and knowledge. Wendy Harmon did just that as part of the closing keynote at the Radian6 conference. You can watch the video and hear how the American Red Cross is putting the social web to work!
Speaking of conferences, NTEN members Geoff Livingston and Allyson Kapin are hosting the Nonprofit 2.0 unconference. Registration is now open. Get your ticket today!
We'll probably share the link to this round-up on Facebook. Will you comment? Are you looking to get Facebook engagement up in your community? NTEN member Danielle Brigida is featured in a Mashable post sharing her recommendations. NTEN's own Holly Ross is, too!
Speaking of Facebook, NTEN member and partner when it comes to all things analytical Idealware has put the focus on how organizations measure success (and failure) on Facebook. Read the Quantum Facebook Mechanics post to learn more!
We love to see our members' work growing and succeeding. KELL Partners is having a gangbusters run and shared their news with us: 250% revenue increase over last year! Congrats!
