We're pleased to announce a new member of the NTEN Team: Amy Sample Ward. You may have heard of her.

For the last two and a half years, Amy has worked as Community Development Manager for Community-Driven Innovation at TechSoup Global, but we knew her back when she was just setting out on the road to nptech super-stardom with the Meyer Memorial Trust right here in Portland, where she led our local 501 Tech Club. Since then, she has co-authored a book, spoken at events around the world, and written regularly for the Stanford Social Innovation Review, NetSquared, and her own blog, in addition to her work with TSG.

Amy has demonstrated, through her words and her actions, a lasting commitment to social change facilitated by technology. We're thrilled to welcome her as our new Membership Director.

(Don't worry, Annaliese will continue her work with NTEN, as our Publications Director.)

We anticipate great things. We also anticipate Amy will inspire all of us to work just a little bit harder.

Please join us in welcoming Amy to the NTEN team in comments, below, or by tweeting @amyrsward with the hashtag #welcomeamy.
