Across the ocean and the international date line, there is an organization doing amazing nonprofit technology work -- Connecting Up Australia. NTEN is proud to announce a mutual scholarship program in partnership with Connecting Up to share nonprofit technology knowledge across the Pacific.
Two lucky NTEN Members will be chosen to attend the Connecting Up Conference (CU11) in Melbourne, Australia on June 1-3, 2011 on a full scholarship!
The Connecting Up Conference will be a nonprofit interactive event for learning and thinking strategically about how innovation and technology can improve our operations and outcomes. You won't want to miss this unique platform for innovative communities, businesses and governments from around Australia to share experiences, successes and lessons learned from programs and projects designed to change their ’world’, whether it be a neighbourhood or a nation.
It's a lot like the NTC, only in Australia! We have been assured that no venomous snakes or spiders or sharks or crocodiles or stingrays are allowed at the conference venue. And NTEN's own Holly Ross will be speaking at the CU11, along with NTEN Member & Aspiration's Executive Director, Allen Gunn.
In addition to the 2 full conference scholarships, 4 more lucky folks will receive complimentary conference registration to the Connecting Up Conference.
> Scholarship Application Closed on December 17, 2010. Winners will be announced by December 31, 2010.
Scholarships are return economy class airfares from the scholarship holder’s nearest State capital city in their home country to the conference venue, full conference registration, accommodations and a contribution of $500 in local currency towards accommodation and meals. How amazing is that?
