Once again, the amazing NTEN community rallied to support one another. In the last two weeks, you raised over $7,000 for the 10NTC Scholarship Campaign! Thanks to the generosity of Convio, we can add another $10,000 to that total, bringing us to $17,195. That's 48 scholarships we can offer to staff at small nonprofits. Exciting, right?
We're still committed to sending as many people as possible to the NTC, so feel free to add to the tally and make a donation today. We'll keep sending more people as we raise more money -- we're just going to take a break from all that tweeting!
It also means that we won't be remaking the Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody video, but I'm betting that Beeker, Miss Piggy, Kermit and the gang will send a little love your way at the NTC, anyway.
If you applied for a scholarship, the first round of invites are going out today, so keep your eyes peeled and be sure to claim your registration promptly.
On a personal note, I want to tell you all thank you. I've been at NTEN for over seven years now, and the generosity of spirit that you show during this campaign, and every day, is exactly why I stick around. You're good people, and I'm proud to know you all.
