Success with Google AdWords (Doesn't Require a Degree)

On its surface, Google AdWords is a simple system. You get a bolded headline (25 characters), 2 lines of plain text (35 characters apiece) and a display URL (35 characters) to try to convince folks to click through to your site. Easy! It could look something like:

Antidisestablishmentarian
That's a long word! What's it mean?
Who cares? It's 25 characters long!
www.pedants-unite.org/languagerules

The thing is, there are about 250,000 words in the English language. I don't know enough statistical analysis to tell you how many possible combinations you could work into AdWords, but I suspect it's a lot. Then there are the keywords. And the bidding process for keywords. And... well, I don't want to scare you away, because there are some simple rules and techniques you can use to get results right away.
