I'm very late to the game (as usual), but I couldn't let the day pass without recognizing my good friend Beth Kanter on her birthday. So this post is an ode to Beth.

Here are some of the things you already know about Beth:

1. She's generous

2. She's smart

3. She likes to swear

4. She's fearless

5. She's funny

She's all those things, but she's also this: the center of NTEN. She gives to the NTEN community every day, the perfect example of the values that we hold. She's the first person we think of when we think of our members and what we want our community to be.

The very least that I could do was to donate to Beth's Birthday Cause. If you've ever read her blog, attended a webinar with her, or otherwise benefitted from Beth's wisdom (and you know you have), you should too.
