(Note: This is a weekly round-up of NTEN members doing and sharing their nptech awesome. Members are in bold. Tag your news with "nten member" or "nptech" to help us find your awesome, or contact Annaliese with your updates.)

In case you hadn't heard, Convio is sponsoring 50 NTEN memberships to nonprofits nominated in their NPHero contest. Jordan Viator explains the idea behind the drive and how you can participate. There's still time, but it's running out! Thanks, Convio!

Peter Campbell writes a compelling post on the Idealware blog about the updated metrics that GuideStar, Charity Navigator, and other organizations recently announced. Peter gives an overview of what the changes are and what they mean -- and how we, as the nonprofit technology community, can help make tracking and reporting more effective for the whole sector. Thanks, Peter!

Chase's top 100 charities voted on Facebook (who will be getting 25K!) include NTEN member organization Idealist.org. Did your org make it?

Georgia Center for Nonprofits press release about our collaboration for the 2010 Nonprofit Technology Conference in Atlanta. We thank GCN for partnering with us to pull off the best NTC yet -- coming to Atalnta, April 8-10!

Speaking of 10NTC partners and announcements: ifPeople is putting out a call to Georgia nonprofits to take part in the 2010 NTC Day of Service. TechBridge and GCN are also partners in the Day of Service and mentioned in the article.

Have we mentioned how rockin' the Austin 501 Tech Club is lately? Thanks, David Neff, for posting the Austin 501 Tech awesome online.

Speaking of rockin' Tech Clubs, the newest addition to the clubs is Rhode Island, under the cultivation of Deborah Elizabeth Finn and Kathleen Malin, sponsored by the Rhode Island Foundation. They had a meeting this week and handed out "Charter Member" polo shirts! The Rhode Island Foundation has a Facebook page with updates about the tech club and other activities.

And I'd like to end this round-up, which will be my last round-up for the 2009 year, with: The Nicest Thing Ever: Thanks, Michelle Hines, for this list. I think you made Holly cry. You're one of our heroes, too, don't you know!
