Flickr: kool_skatkatIt's been a little while since I posted one of these members-online round-ups. Let's just say I've been saving up for a really good one.
There's been a lot of sharing of tips, examples, and resources among NTEN members in our online community lately, so I want to highlight those today.
There was a question on the DC 501 Tech Club and NTEN Discuss lists about Facebook vs Twitter. Here are some of the resources members shared to help tackle the question:
- Andrew Cohen, ForumOne Communications, was nice enough to share his Delicious-tagged resources on the topic.
- Sarah Davies, ACLU-Washington, just so happened to have recently been on a panel discussing Twitter and Facebook. She shared the video of the session.
- Maddie Grant, SocialFish, Inc., pointed folks to a thorough blog post she'd written on the subject of social media policies -- something she's been thinking and writing about a lot lately. It might help to read some more from her blog. She also just so happens to be presenting on social media in July.
There were more considerations and tips shared via the discussion lists, of course. And other topics have come up lately on these lists that provided resources and recommendations to consider:
- Mind-Mapping software
- Event Registration tools
- Power consumption on PC's
