That's Right: The NTC is Sold Out

I know, it's April Fool's Day, but we're not clever enough to pull off any of those cute shennanigans.  We really did sell out the NTC. 

That's right.  We had 1330 spots for the conference this year, and they are all taken.  If you didn't get a seat, don't fret.  You can add yourself the wait list, and as spots open up we'll take care of you.  And if that doesn't work out, we'll be doing some live streaming from the show.  So keep your eyes peeled for that.

If you are one of the lucky ones holding a golden ticket to the best nptech event of the year, let me point out a few of the highlights to which you can look forward, because I want you to make to most of every minute of those three days:

  • Ignite Sessions at the evening receptions.  First off, let me just say that our Diamond sponsors, Blackbaud and Microsoft, are planning some very fun antics at the evening receptions.  I hear rumors of Rock Band, to start with.  And following the antics, we have more antics, in the form of 5 minute powerpoint presentations.  My favorite title?  Party Like It's 1657: Renewing the Charitable Aid Society.
  • The NTEN Member Lounge.  Speaking of Rock Band, you can get yours on at the NTEN Member Lounge, sponsored by NPower.  It's a great place to go hang out, meet up with friends, or find a comfortable place to sit down and crank out a blog post.  And, at scheduled intervals, it will be a fantastic place to ROCK OUT!*
  • Affinity Group Meetings.  Are you a CiviCRM user?  Are you from Chicago?  These are just two of the Affinity Groups that will meeting up at the conference.  A great chance to meet folks who do what you do, where you do it!  These sessions are all about meeting your peers and making connections, which is why we put them on the first day of conference. 

Those are just a few of the MANY things going on at the conference.  And since we're all registered already, we can start getting to know each other at NTConnect.org.  It's your chance to create your customized calendar of sesssions and events, set up dinners and other networking events, and find other attendees.

*Rocking out only allowed between sessions, at lunch, or after 5pm.  You know, because the sessions hapenning in the next room need a little quiet.   We don't want them all distracted by your awesome shredding.
