Flickr Photo: Natassia A DavisI spent some time at SXSW this weekend, hanging with my NPTech peeps. (But more on that later -- though I did get one video.) Everytime I ran into someone I knew or met someone new from the sector, the first question was, invariably:

"So which is it?  Beyonce, Bacon, or Trombone?"

I realized that although I knew the outcome of our scholarship campaign voting, I had never bothered to share it. By the time voting began, I had received dozens of calls and emails about people's intentions, so I already suspected the winner would be:

Beyonce. 

And so it was, by a more than 2-1 margin over the trombone. There appear to be some rumors out there that I'd like to take a moment to squelch, though. You know, so I don't embarrass myself any more than I have to already!  

• I will NOT wear a leotard. I'm just saying. I'm doing us both a favor.  I am, however, working on the hair and makeup.  
• I will NOT be performing this routine live at the NTC. The stage is shaky. I would fall.  
• I WILL be videotaping this for you, in the privacy of my own garage. 
• The video will make its world premier at the NTC. So, be in your plenary seat on Monday April 27 at 8:35 am. If you're not in your seat, you won't see it on the big screen!
• Immediately following, we will make it available online for those of you who can't witness my humiliation in person.
