Member News online this week:

NTEN member United Nations Foundation is featured in a Forbes article for turning to innovative online strategies -- including YouTube and Twitter -- to raise money in tough economic times.

Speaking of turning to online media, has your organization invested inĀ  online banner ads? NTEN member organizations US Fund for UNICEF and Feeding America discuss their experiences so far with this online media investment.

Jenn Thompson lists the conferences she's looking forward to attending in 2009 and why she recommends them. (Thanks for including the NTC!)

Congrats to Jon Stahl, from One/Northwest, for being a contributing author to a new book on Plone.

While we're handing out congrats, nice work, EchoDitto, on the new open source Mother Jones website.

Marc Osten interviews Gavin Clabaugh -- two NTEN superstars, I must say!

Several NTEN members added their comments to the Chronicle of Philanthropy article, "The Perils of Raising Small Sums on Online Networks", including new NTEN Board member Nancy Schwartz. You can probably guess where NTEN members came down on this debate. :)

I'd like to close by pointing you all to this Valentine's Day appropriate post by Eric Johnson of the Case Foundation: "How to Date a Mashup Programmer".
