We Are Media Toolbox: Video Sharing
Let's close out this week of We Are Media goodness with a really fun one: video sharing!
I have to confess I have no idea how I lived my life before this:
OK, fine: I lived just fine before the dramatic prarie dog -- but it sure is more fun with the prarie dog in it. Video can be about fun, but nonprofits are also turning to online video and video sharing as a means to tell their stories -- and to allow stakeholders to tell THEIR stories. They're producing slick professional pieces, as well as homier bits. They're inspiring people to vote, give money, or just learn how to compost.
Of course, video can be an intimidating format to take on. It may seem complicated and expensive, but it doesn't have to be. See3 has a great guide on how to think about getting started.
For those of you already in the know, what would you tell nonprofits about video? What tools, tips, and tricks should they know about? Share your favorites in comments or on the wiki!

Yeah - they do seem a little overwhelming to produce...but effective tools to use. I'll have to read more about their creation before I'm ready to tackle. We have youtube videos up now...but no videos like commercials...guess that's a new project.
