How To Video Videos
We had a 501 Tech Club meeting here in Portland this week, where we spent a lot of time talking about video. It seems some groups are really starting to get interested in all of the ways they can use video to tell their stories and inspire action. One performance group was interested in live-streaming their performances. Another wanted to get their event fundraising teams to take video of their experiences as they prepared for the big event.
They both had big ideas, but weren't sure where to get started. For all of you in similar circumstances, See3 has a fun little series of (what else?) videos to get you started. The Guide to Online Video is an informative series because See3 share a lot fo useful tips, and because they demonstrate how to do it right. The videos are short, simple, and accessible -- the kind of thing that ANY organization could do.
So check out the series and get inspired!

Great videos Michael! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks Holly for the shout-out.
We are planning more videos to help organizations with developing their video strategy. We want to hear from NTEN members about whether they would be more interested in the next part being technical -- which cameras to buy, how to get good sound, etc... -- or more about distribution, what to do with that video once you have it.
