A Little Help? Right Now? You Got It!

Webinars are great for delivering seminars to your internet browser. Online communities are good for engaging in asynchronous discussions about topics that interest you. But what if you could could find an expert online, right now, who could answer a question, and even ask you follow-up questions, so that in a matter of minutes you could have specific (and general) feedback for an organizational problem or project? That could help, right?

We think so! That's why we've rolled out a new service for and by the NTEN community: Office Hours.

Just like in college, you can find people at a designated place (online) at a designated time, with expertise in a designated topic -- for free!

All you have to do is check the Office Hour calendar to see who's available in the topic area you need help in, then join the online chat room at the designated time.

Last week, we successfully kicked off this new service: some people came with specific questions they needed help with, others just dropped by to participate in the discussions that developed! You can read more about one of the sessions from last week here.

Don't forget to check the calendar!
