NTEN Content Management System Satisfaction Report Now Available

Choosing a CMS can be frustrating and overwhelming. With so many choices and so little time to research all the options, many of us rely heavily on the recommendations of our peers to cut through the noise and provide some insight.

This is why NTEN is proud to present the results of our first CMS Satisfaction Survey.

We've surveyed hundreds of your peers in order to provide you with a wide array of opinions about CMSs, and the characteristics of the vendors providing those products.

Once you have identified two or three systems that meet your organization's needs, this report can help you to make your final decision as to which system is right for your organization.

The report is available free to NTEN Members, $50 for non-members. NTEN Members receive access to the full data set for the report.

Visitors from Drupal.org: Get the report for $25 by entering the Discount Code "Drupal" when you purchase the survey.

Charging for information isn't my favorite thing to do, but creating the reports does cost money, and we do have to pay our staff, so there are certain things that we DO charge for. The report is free for folks who support NTEN financially as members. We also have a WIDE variety of free services available to anyone at all - many of our reports (including the 2 IT Staffing reports), our Affinity Groups platform (http://groups.nten.org) as well as a number of webinar events each year.

We're a nonprofit, but we still have to pay the bills!

I find it ironic that a site dedicated to non-profits charges for its information. Why not make it available w/o that barrier so MORE non-profits and the people who want to support them can learn and continue to grow or maybe make it public after say 3 months. Just a thought.

Thanks for the great report, I'm getting ready to dig into it now. Picking a reliable and stable CMS is more than tricky these days.... Spot on!
