Kintera To Open its Platform and Unveils Kintera Connect
Kintera® Inc. (NASDAQ: KNTA) today announced Kintera Connect, an open application integration platform that features applications provided by Kintera and application partners. We are scheduling a community call with Scott Crowder, CTO of Kintera, for NTEN members.
According to the press release, Kintera Connect is built on Kintera’s existing Web services and enables developers and partners to integrate directly with Kintera technology. Initial partners include TMA Resources, Campbell Rinker, Mobile Commons (which will be featured in an NTEN webinar on Thursday), DailyStrength, Jacobson Consulting, Solid Cactus, Echopass, Freecause, FISC Solutions, CopperKey, Razorsight, Quantrix, Frontline Data, AQ2 Tech, BringLight and WPG Inc. This application integration has the potential to share data more easily between applications, according to one of the vendors that provides association management software.
According to company literature, the platform builds on existing APIs with a more robust application integration platform, extending APIs to more partners based on nonprofits’ business and technology needs. Kintera is inviting potential technology providers and partners at www.kintera.com/kinteraconnect. Software applications will be available to nonprofits in September 2007.
Again, we will be scheduling a community conference call with the CTO of Kintera for NTEN members who want to learn more.
