The Stockholm Challenge is looking for submissions of innovative uses of technology in development projects to enter to win the prestigious 2008 Stockholm Challenge Award. We know that many of you in NTEN community have many fantastic projects working for human development and social change, and as a partner of the Stockholm Challenge we want you to apply!

The Stockholm Challenge highlights great technology projects that strive towards human advancement, and will have six specific categories of awards: 

• Public Administration
• Education
• Economic Development
• Culture
• Health
• Environment
  

Winners will receive a Stockholm Challenge Trophy and a cash prize, and all finalists (about 100) will be invited to participate in Challenge Week, a week of workshops, conferences, discussions, social events, and networking opportunities with some of the brightest minds in ICT for development in the world.
