Wall Street Journal to Feature NTEN NPTech Community

Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 11/13/2006 - 4:52am.

We at NTEN are preparing for the Wall Street Journal Online a special edition that will feature nonprofit technology "Recommended Readings" and resources. The readings will be advertised in the print edition of the Journal as well, and will be published in late November.

Naturally, we WANT to feature YOU and your resources!

If you have a 'recommended reading or resource' - a web site, book, article, or report that you like, please send them to the list and we'll compile.

The focus of the resource should be on:

  • nonprofits and web use
  • great stories of how nonprofits are using the web (must be a case study, or other easily digestible online resource)
  • how to get started as a nonprofit using tech
  • resources for people in nonprofits who want to use tech, the web, etc.

Of course, we have plenty of ideas here already, but want to hear from you what you love, reference, or want to feature.

Here is the format:

  • Title of Resource
  • URL, publisher
  • SHORT description, no more than 100 word: What is this resource and why is it great?

CAVEAT: I must receive ALL submissions by Monday, 11/13 at 12 noon ET. We also reserve the right to edit all submissions and, naturally, will not be able to include everything. Submissions can be emailed or better, list them as a comment to this post. Strong preference will be given to resources submitted by or featuring current NTEN members (and if you want to join NTEN as a member no, either as individual or organization, please do so: www.nten.org/join!)

Thanks, and looking forward to hearing from you!
