11NTC Storyteller's Workshop

The application period for the 11NTC Storytelling Workshop is now closed.  If you have any further questions, email sarah@nten.org.

Join storytelling pro's Michaela Hackner and Roger Burks for a 2 hour workshop on Wednesday, March 16th from 6 - 8 pm (the night before 11NTC's official kick-off). Michaela and Roger will be covering how to tell stories across various media and social networks, as well as building the Storytelling Team that will help document, describe and disseminate what's happening at 11NTC - that means you!  During the workshop, you'll learn the basics of documentary storytelling, see examples of how it's being used and discover how it can power social media. You'll gain practical tips and helpful advice, and have plenty of time for questions and discussion with your fellow storytellers.

Participants in this workshop will be expected to participate in storytelling throughout 11NTC through writing, photography, video, blogging and other media. The 11NTC Storytellers Workshop is a great opportunity to learn about a powerful means of communication, and then continue the learning experience thoroughout the conference as an integral member of the 11NTC Storytelling Team.

Please note that you must be registered for the 11NTC to participate in this workshop, which takes place on Wednesday, March 16th from 6 - 8 pm - please make your travel plans accordingly.
